11: 3 Tips to Add Exercise to Your Morning Routine
The most important part of my day is my morning workout. Hands down. It calms my anxiety, gives me energy, gives me patience (for a certain 3 year old), and opens my creative/productive pathways for the day.
Morning workouts don’t have to be long (mine are never more than 30 minutes – and sometimes are as short as 10 minutes).
They don’t have to be torture, either. I keep mine relevant to my fitness goals. If you’re just starting out, set the goal to just get up and MOVE. No pressure on intensity. Just MOVE and get used to that being a part of your day. From there you can progress and grow.
Today we will talk about:
- How to stop negotiating your way out of your workouts
- How morning workouts positively impact your entire day
- Why you eat better all day if you workout in the morning
- The privilege vs punishment attitude
- The 3 elements to making exercise part of your morning routine
What helps you make exercise a part of your morning routine? I’d love to know any tips or strategies that keep you exercising through motherhood. If you have a success story I’d love to hear it! Email me at info@shamelessmom.com!
